2009 Mandatory Fundraising

The mission of Fairfield AYF Football League, Inc. is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, AYF programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives.

The league needs your help to continue with our mission and one way you can help is by volunteering with our Centerplate program. No special skills are required. You simply work a concession stand with a group of other team parents selling food and beverages during the 49er's home games. A portion of the sells for that day goes directly to the Fairfield Falcons AYF League.

PLEASE NOTE: For parents who's children are participating in either football, cheer or dance your participation in this volunteer program is MANDATORY!!!

  • If you sign up and no one attends at least 1 Mandatory session, (meaning you or your representative) then you child will not be allowed to participate until your fundraising obligation has been fulfilled.

A few things to note:

  • You don't personally have to attend although if you do there is the potential to earn more money.
  • You can have a representative who is 16 years or older attend Centerplate in your place.
  • you are encouraged to attend more than one Centerplate session. The first session is Mandatory but all other sessions attended is earned money toward your child
  • The more people that you can sign up and get to go with you, the more money you will earn for the league and your child.

Make sure you are dressesd in the following (No Exceptions!!!)

  • White undershirt ( They will provide a white collar shirt )
  • Black confortable closed toe shoes (you will be on your feet about 8 hrs)
  • Black pants e.g. Slasks or Dickies NO JEANS because they will deduct money from us if we are not dressed properly
  • You are not allowed to consume alcohol at anytime!!!
